Research
Research is conducted on an ongoing basis with the aim of identifying the AT&OD attitudes, knowledge, usage patterns and service needs of target NESB communities. Each survey promotes community action to address the identified needs. Assistance and support is also provided to AT&OD services wishing to undertake research of C&LD communities.

Information Provision
DAMEC is a central contact point for information relating to C&LD communities. DAMEC publishes annually the Alcohol & Other Drugs Services Programs and Resources Directory for non-English speaking background people. DAMEC provides a telephone service and supplies multilingual pamphlets and other material on request.
